Shining faces, glittery eyes, glamorous and amorous lives,
fancy fun and gaudier pun, glitzy clothes and flimsy loathes,
amusing lives, fantasy lives, partying lives, trashy, loud, proud, out, even in a crowd lives,
drinks floats and hope gloats, powder room magic and some minor tragics,
you all have it all, travel, romance, glamour, clamor, chaos, calm, serenity, oddity, love, hate, friendship...
oh beautiful friendship! a ship I try to steer towards you all but the happy sadness and sad happiness of your lives stop it in it course.
I still sit by the seashore and count the waves, the waves of love, laughter, happiness and everything in between, I try to hold on to these waves but they go as quickly as they come,
I am the starfish which is left out on the shore, kept alive by the momentary waves that you send,
hoping, praying, prying, crying, lying and trying to get in to the ocean you all call life.
The salt water no longer hurts, the distance no longer worries, the hope no longer longs, its not a place I know, I am not sure if I even want to go, or if I am wanted. It seems now the shore is my home and I am nothing more than a mere spectator to what you call "life and everything in between it."
